OUR SAFETY POLICY

The priority of Flo-Max Australia Pty Ltd is to ensure a healthy and safe workplace, so far as is reasonably practicable, and that all employees are safe from injury and risks to their health while at work.

Flo-Max meets this commitment by ensuring that work practices and procedures adopted throughout the Company comply with the Acts and Regulations governing Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare.

Management of health, safety and the environment is an integral part of our management responsibilities. All staff and contractors employed by Flo-Max will be held accountable in their areas of responsibility.

All persons employed by Flo-Max will be trained to perform their work safely. Self-employed persons will be supervised by the person in control of the relevant workplace to ensure compliance with standards. Every person is responsible for working in a safe manner, following all safety rules, participating in safety training and communications meetings, identifying any safety and health hazards and alerting his or her supervisor accordingly.

Strict compliance with the companies Health, Safety and Environment Management System is a minimum requirement and it is neither expected nor required of our employees to attempt anything likely to cause them harm.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

It is the goal of Flo-Max Australia to ensure that the activities of the Company have minimum impact on the environment and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.

We must first ensure that each member of our company understands all sources of environmental risks resulting from our specific services before improvements can be addressed.

To achieve our environmental goal we will:

  • Comply with applicable environmental legislation and regulations

  • Develop in-house knowledge of effects associated with our service activities, in particular, the disposal of our clients’ waste

  • Correctly transport and dispose all environmentally damaging waste products

  • Strategically plan to reflect market needs concerning the environment

  • Continuously upgrade our standards of personnel knowledge, equipment processes and procedures

  • Maintain sound recording system to document all aspects of progress made on environmental objectives

  • Reduce waste and consumption of resources and production of pollutants

  • Pursue new technologies to reduce client waste by waste recovery and reduction methods

OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE POLICY

Flo-Max Australia Pty Ltd has formulated a Quality system based on the elements in the Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001. The Quality System is designed to meet the specific requirements of our company and our customers.

It is the policy of Flo-Max to implement this quality system effectively throughout our operations. This system will optimise and control quality so as to maximise customer benefit and offer a cost effective service. Quality shall be controlled by operational techniques and activities aimed at preventing unsatisfactory performance.

Compliance with the quality system is mandatory to all Flo-Max personnel, and all staff shall undergo training to ensure that they all understand the Company Quality Policy and its requirements.

We also will require effective implementation of the quality policy by our sub-contractors and suppliers.

Our objective for Quality is to maintain effective business systems which enable us to:

  1. Effectively ascertain our Customer’s needs;

  2. Efficiently plan and design to meet these needs;

  3. Control all job process in order to fully satisfy of all our requirements;

  4. Ensure the continuing process capability of all our equipment;

  5. Ensure all personnel are effectively qualified and trained to undertake appointed tasks.

In order to improve our quality standards and achieve the company objective, Flo-Max shall continue monitoring the quality performance and comply with those standards required by the statutory authorities and our customers.
